Hello,
My name is bill wren. My major is Psychology. I am a senior and am taking this class because it interests me as well as satisfying a gen ed requirment. I consider myself a moderate, politically and I tend to loose patience with extremeists of either political pole.

Hello,
My name is Darryl Saylor. I am a junior and my major is general studies in Arts and Humanities and this course helps in my general requirements. I took this course because anything that deals with politics and government have always interested me. I have lived in Washington DC and in Japan and have met many politicians in my life and I consider myself to be a moderate.

Great to see you off to such a fast start! The course has been released in Bb now if you want to take a look at the syllabus. I was going to open it up last night, but Bb was down. You blog topics for the first three chapters will be posted shortly so you can get an idea of what is expected. I will also upload a grading rubric for the blog comments and post that on Bb. Let me know if you have any questions.

Hello,
My name is Ryan Neff and my major is currently Pre-Pharmacy; I'm a sophmore at eastern. I am taking this class for one reason honestly, i took it first semester my freshman year and got a D. Now I have to replace the grade in order to keep my scholarship. I am a Republican but consider myself an open-minded person and enjoy politics. I look forward to getting started with the class.

Hi,
My name is Angie Trosper. I am a freshman and my major is Elementary Education. I am taking this class due to the fact it is required. As I said I am a freshman so I am new to all of this and I really have no idea what to do. I dont understand a lot of government issues so I would appreciate any advice anyone could give me. I still havent got the book that I'm supposed to have. I have someone in Lexington that has one but I need to know the exact name of the book. Dr. Patton could you please help me out with this so that I can make sure I'm getting the correct book? Thanks,
Angie

My name is Tyler Pittman and I'm a Business Management Major. I thought I was going to graduate last semester but my advisor told me I needed eight hours of anything I wanted to fullfill the 128 credits. So I decided to take online classes.

This course will help me to get licensure to teach Social Studies on a permanent basis. At 47 years old, its time to slow down a bit and enjoy my WHOLE summer.
